Natural Cedar Oil – properties:
Cedar oil – skin care
Cedar oil is rich in vitamins and minerals that have a positive effect on the skin. We recommend it for mature, dry and gray skin. It contains a high dose of tocopherol – vitamin E. Regular use of preparations with the addition of this essential oil improves the overall condition of the skin, restoring its healthy appearance and glow. Do not use directly on the skin – mix it with base oil, e.g. BOSQIE grape seed oil.

Cedar oil – for hair
It strengthens the hair structure, facilitates detangling, gives natural shine and prevents excessive split ends and falling out. On the basis of cedar tree oil, you can prepare masks and conditioners. It soothes skin irritations.

Anti-seborrhea effect of cedar oil
Cedarwood oil can help fight skin irritation and reduce skin flaking by regulating sebum production. Cedar reduces redness and other external symptoms of skin irritation, which is why it is often chosen.

Cedar oil – anti-inflammatory properties
Arthritis and tissue inflammation that results in debilitating pain or severe discomfort can be alleviated by inhaling or applying cedar oil topically to the skin. Remember to dilute the oil with a carrier oil such as BOSQIE sweet almond oil.

Cedar extract – strengthening effect
Cedar oil is used as a strengthening agent because it supports the functioning of internal organs and stimulates the metabolism. It improves overall health and well-being and is therefore ideal for relaxing rituals. Essential oils should not be taken orally, but by inhalation.

Cedar oil – antiseptic effect
Cedar oil prevents wound infections. By diluting it with base oil, it can be applied topically to the skin, protecting the body against the effects of toxins.

Cedar oil – astringent action
As an astringent, cedar oil helps heal toothache, strengthens the gums, and prevents tooth loss. It improves muscle tone. As an astringent, it is useful to protect the skin from the effects of toxins, which is why it is often chosen by our consumers.

Cedar oil – expectorant properties
Inhalation with the addition of cedar oil soothes colds. According to the scientific literature – it has an expectorant effect and effectively relieves cough by removing phlegm from the respiratory tract. Interchangeable with camphor or eucalyptus oil is recommended.

Cedarwood Oil – An insecticide
It is used as a repellent against mosquitoes and other insects. Used in evaporators, it chases mosquitoes, flies and other insects away from the house. Regularly spraying it on pillows or sheets solves the problem of nuisance insects that disturb sleep.

Cedar oil – has a calming effect
It has a strong soothing effect on the mind, reduces inflammation and itching of the skin, while relieving tension and anxiety. It has a relaxing effect on the nervous system. Used as part of aromatherapy, it increases the production of serotonin – the wellness hormone. We recommend aromatherapy with the use of cedar oil to people suffering from chronic anxiety, stress and depression. It is recommended to combine cedar oil with lavender or rosemary oil, because they together create a mixture that has an extremely positive effect on the mood.

Cedar oil blends well with other oils: rosemary, bergamot, lavender, cinnamon, juniper, jasmine, lemon, lime and rose.
Contraindications: do not use in the case of a known allergy to any of the oil components, nor use it by pregnant women and children without consulting a doctor.
